This is a corner of my neighbour’s garden that mesmerized me because of the captivating shadows. Without light there are no shadows. I’m searching for the light within and observing the light all around me.
Hollyhocks are so reminiscent of a country garden. They rise up to such great heights with dots of musical, rhythmic, papery blooms. The flowers looking every which way have such happy faces that make me smile and wish that it would last longer.
