Société de Pastel d’Est du Canada’s 30th Anniversary Exhibition
Lorraine’s pastel painting, Woodland Wonder (Surprise Dans la Forêt) framed under Museum Acrylic ($2895) was accepted into The Pastel Society of Eastern Canada’s (Société de Pastel d’Est du Canada’s) 30th Anniversary Exhibition held at the Espace Quatre Cents in Québec City (100 Quai St-André in Quebec City)
October 8-26, 2025.
This international exhibition, with France as guest of honour and under the honorary presidency of Ms. Ginette Reno, will have the opening reception take place on Saturday, October 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., including the awards ceremony (nearly $14,000 in value), which will be held at 7 p.m.
The general public will be able to admire more than 260 works, including many by French artists who, for the occasion, will be crossing the Atlantic to join the celebrations. We would also like to highlight the presentation of numerous paintings by masters, such as Horace Champagne, Mélissa Breault, Denis Jacques, Juan Cristobal, W. Truman Hosner (USA), Siddick Nuckcheddy (Mauritius), Claude Texier (France), and Danielle Richard
Federation of Canadian Artists Toronto Chapter - Fresh Paint Exhibition at the Alton Mill Arts Centre
Lorraine’s pastel paintings, Garden in Paradise ($2295) (SOLD), Waiting ($2295) and Down the River Run ($895) were accepted into The Federation of Canadian Artists’ Toronto Chapter’s Fresh Paint Exhibition June 11 to July 5, 2025.

Lorraine’s painting, Brambles at the Pond, ($2295) was juried into the Pastel Society of the West Coast’s 2025 Members’ Only Online Show beginning January 23rd, by the esteemed master pastelist, Richard McKinley.

The painting, On the Beach, ($2295) won an Artistic Recognition Award in the Art and Color 365 Magazine’s 2024 Pastels Competition. The online exhibition is live for two years.
